Literature Text

I cry,
In the four walls in-between my room.
I go to school,
With a fake smile.
I cry,
When no one is looking,
To show no weakness.
I look at people,
With no light in my eyes,
But they don’t take any notice.
I cry,
Alone,
Looking to no one for support.
I cry,
Because no one remembers me,
And I try to forget about them,
But that means letting apart of me drift away.
It feels like,
I have too much on my shoulders,
And it is going to crush me soon.
I cry,
In my room,
And I hide behind a mask at school.
My cool mask,
Mask only cracked once,
And I cried,
Showing weakness to others.
But never again.
So now,
I cry,
Because I’m alone.
So now,
I cry,
Because I hate what I’ve become.
So now,
I cry,
Because I’m afraid to let anyone close.
So now,
I cry,
Because I want to forget about my past.
So now,
I cry,
Alone,
Afraid to let anyone close,
Because I want to forget.
So now,
I cry…
... just something...

Wow. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Very true in life and the poem itself was very very well made.

Terrific job.
