Question among question
Averting our eyes
There is nothing among us but tension
Cutting our friendship ties

Wanting nothing but the touch
Of you next to me
But I’m only seen a crutch
So I put my heart under lock and key

Wanting to get away
To run away from your many questions
Not wanting to feel dismay
Over flimsy suggestions

But most times
Not all answers are kind
No matter how many rhymes
No matter if emotions are entwined

But the only answer I can give
Is the only answer I can supply
I know this life I can never relive
But my answer is Goodbye

I will never know
If the tears were worth the pain
But I have to let go
But it was all in vein

My heart now
Barley beating
My life now
Very fleeting

You once my nectar
Now is my pain
Once a protector
Now my Wolfs Bane

Watching with cold eyes
I can do nothing more then tear apart
And watch the demise
Of my broken heart

I can’t get you out of my mind
But all I could do was cry
I’m sorry I was so blind
But my only answer is Goodbye

rhyming poem... took me about 45 min to think about. but i was thinking about i all day... since Valentines Day everything is screwed up, i just want to bang my head against the wall. i cant keep from thinking this is my fault. but now that i know for sure im moving, the only answer i can really give is Goodbye.

i hope it is ok, the poem, because i tried my best... but tell me is it is bad, it cant hurt much more then this.

BTW! i dont know if the category is right, please tell me if wrong!

That was really good, I couldn't think up a rhyming poem for my life. Takes some major brain power to do that. =3 I hope things start to look up for you soon. :heart:

I think you put it in the right category; I don't know if there's anything that would fit it better. I'm not very poetry literate. ^^;

awww...I wish that I had read this a loooong time ago and told you what i think of it in person, and i dont know why im just NOW getting to it, but that was really good..well said from the heart........I think that I should start writing poetry.
